“I can still run to the store.”

Can’t make sense
Of this list.
Beat and spent.
Ten milk jugs.
Nothing else
In my cart.
Almost done.
Can’t sign check.
Mortified.

That is so sad…bless you for your compassionate heart. ♥
❤
David, that must be so hard.
My mother is forgetful, but she knows everyone. The two weird things she has done is to think there is a bird behind her at dinner. She tries to feed it. It may be her tinnitus. The other thing is once she thought she was on a bus at the her bus stop instead of the house. No official dementia, just a frail, old lady (94).
94. Bless her heart. 🙂
Oh, Marie. This hits home for me. I’m sorry you have to go through this with your loved ones. I am not quite where you are yet but this is starting to ring truer for me. Just yesterday my mom asked me if she had any grandchildren. (She has eight). So I showed her photos of each of them. She could name only two.
This piece isn’t personal experience, David. This is someone I observed at the store a little while back. I FELT it for her. So sad. Our moms are likely just about on the same page, from what you’ve told me about her. It’s so heart breaking. I feel for you. 😦
