PLACED IN A TIME SUCH AS THIS
by Marie Elena

Ohio Department of Health Director, Dr. Amy Acton (thankful for her)
I don’t believe in fluke of fate.
No, we were slated for this time.
But as we climb this curve
we work to flatten as ordered
to slacken this attack,
I am looking forward
to looking back.

Your blog is so much more than a simple pairing of pictures and poems. I enjoy reading your PAD poems, too.
I know you collaborate with Walt Wojantik. I am missing his prolific posts this week and I hope all is well with him. I left a comment on his blog, too.
Write on. See you at Poetic Asides.
Lorraine Caramanna
Lorraine! How nice to see you here! Thank you so much for your kind comment. And it humbles me that you remember that I collaborate with Walt. I refer to him as my “partner in rhyme.” 😉 We share a little blog together: https://poeticbloomings2.wordpress.com/
He has not been well of late. He writes when he can, and prompts when he can. As you can imagine, he’s still “got it.” He amazes me, truly. I’m glad you left a comment on his blog. It will mean a lot to him to see you there.
Take care, Lorraine, and hope to see you Asides!
Extremely well said! I love “looking forward to looking back”
Thank you, Seek!
I’m a firm believer in the idea that we are all put in the right place at the right time. It just sometimes takes a little bit of time to see the reason.
Exactly. And maybe sometimes we never really know. And that’s okay. Thank you for your comments. LOVE your moniker.
Well said. Definitely looking forward to looking back, even if we’ve been made for such a time as this.
Thank you. Praying we are better people on the other side of this.
