I really like both the photo and your poem. The poem has a lovely succinct number of words and lines which are full and rich with the larger story…and which invite curiosity for more of the saga. The photo has a sophisticated moodiness, in my view….I can practically feel the texture of the chair’s upholstery. I enjoyed the whole post 🙂
An idea coalesces where it had always been
into something other, perfection arranged;
Now lower, slower, holiness expressing,
coming together, suddenly unchanged.
Emerging from lightness, a voice “Let there be…”
immeasurable vastness is measured and plumbed
Time-space created, the stillness of speed
stalls heavenly ecstasy, euphoria numbed
Spirit is brooding, void birthed from the deep
Manna! What is it? Bread from above?
The Holy stands, divine orchestra shushes
The first word is written…. (wait) “LOVE”

I’m so sorry I posted this poem here. I thought I was on your other website, and I didn’t pay proper attention. If I could, I’d remove it. Sorry sis, please forgive a weak minded brother.
Are you kidding me?? Kevin, I love this poem, and it is one that I’d love our Bloomin’ community to see. If you haven’t already, can I talk you into posting it there?

Thank you so much, Zelda!
The photo is a bit of my living room, which is completely disjointed at this time while my husband paints the walls and ceiling. 😀
You’re welcome 🙂 I did gather it was a glimpse of your home ‘mid project–and I’m just wowed by that chair, call me crazy! 🙂
Well, thank you so much! 🙂
You’re most welcome 🙂
