Proud daughter of a
political refugee,
gold wasn’t her goal.
Those who’d see her worth
only through a gold medal,
wouldn’t see her worth.

So true, Marie – I love this!
Thank you, dear! How are you?
First, how are you doing? Is everything ok in your world?
I’m still migraining daily. I’m still waiting for the migraine medication I’m on to work.
I recently started a 3-way collaboration with a poet in China and a poet in the UK. It’s a great distraction to write with such accomplished writers.
You’re in my thoughts, Marie. Thank you for checking in.
That AMAZES me that you can write and be creative while dealing with migraines. My word, how strong you are! I’m happy for this collaboration! How cool, and how fun! HUGS!!
Some days I can’t write at all. Other days, I’m functional enough to write.
If you’re interested, I can send you the link to one of our collaborations that will publish on February 24. No pressure, though.
O yes, please do! Thank you!
