SILLY LITTLE LOVE POEM (for my Keith)
by Marie Elena
Did you notice
That I noticed
You were noticing me too?
Did your eye
Catch my eye
When I eyed those eyes of blue?
Were you touched
When we touched
Accidentally (if that’s true)?
Did you see
That I sighed
As I saw your soul shine through?
Did you sense
The immense
Magnetism, me to you?
Do you know
You’re loved so,
And I’m glad I said “I do.”
I like it.Very skilful
Thank you, Katherine!
Ok. Just as long as there isn’t any math involved.
Drat. I posted this in the wrong spot. Back to the DPVPM for me.
😉
Now people know that for fun, you two go to bars; monkey bars!
😀 !!!!!!!
There is nothing silly about this (except maybe the picture;-) )
😉
Very nice, Marie. Looks like you’ve got him caged. 😊
Um… just wondering. Should there be a question mark at the end?
Sophie is the one who has him “caged.” Such a great poppa! 😉 Funny you mention the lack of a question mark at the end. I intentionally treated the last “question” as rhetorical, and contemplated treating all of them that way. I decided to treat the last one differently. Since it’s poetry (vs fiction or non-fiction book text), I can get away with that. 😉
Ok, then. Is that what is called “poetic license”? If so, does one have to go to the DMV and pay a fee for it? I’m still in the learning stages, here.
No. It’s free through the DPVPM (Department of Poetry Vocabulary and Punctuation Manipulation). Keep studying, David. You’ll get there.
